As long as you go to surgery early you can usually get an appointment.

Do not know what could be done better. Was Happy with my appointment.

I usually go into surgery to make an appointment. You have to wait too long on the phone. It means having to go in early but can usually get an appointment. It would help if calls to the surgery were free.

Make calls free. Get more staff on the phones.

It was a perfectly seamless way of getting a consultation with the GP

On two recent occasions I have requested and been given a same day appointment. I used the callback facility offered on the phone line and this worked very well

Second appointment was delayed 20 minutes

Receptionists are diabolical and I get the impression do everything they can to put you off wanting an appointment! Phone waiting times are shocking. And when I called a month or so back to discuss fast tracking my knee surgery with a GP (as instructed to do so by the orpathedic unit at St Richards hospital) was advised by the receptionist that this would require a planned appointment, and no chance of one of them for at least a month ! There is no service provided by this surgery I feel.

I don't think it is so much the surgery but rather government. The residential area that the surgery supports has increased greatly due to development and no infrastructure has been put into place. Therefore more pressure on the surgery. However, the receptionists here are ice cold and a bit more understanding and empathy would go a very long way !
